Albedo differences can be clearly made out in the images. The frames are from magazine 36/N, and were taken with the 80mm lens during Apollo 11's first orbit of the Moon in July 1969.These prints were made by NASA in the mid-1970s from the original 1969 negatives. They both have watermarks 'This paper manufactured by Kodak' on versos.King is a prominent lunar impact crater that can not be viewed directly from Earth. The crater was named after Arthur Scott King and Edward Skinner King in 1970. Prior to that, this crater was known as Crater 211. It forms a pair with Ibn Firnas, which is only slightly larger and is attached to the northeast rim of King. To the northwest is the crater Lobachevskiy, and Guyot is located an equal distance to the north-northwest.The original NASA database describes these images as: "Description: View of Moon, Crater 211, officially named King. Target of Opportunity 46 (TO 46), a Copernican type crater. This image was taken from the Command and Service Module (CSM) during the transluner phase of the Apollo 11 Mission.
