Description: 2 VINTAGE PUTZ VILLAGE SHEEP - 3.75" & 3.5"- WOOLY- MATCHSTICK LEGS- COMPO HEAD OFFERED FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A PAIR OF VINTAGE PUTZ VILLAGE SHEEP OR LAMB. THE LARGER ONE IS APPROXIMATLEY 3.75" IN HEIGHT AND 3.5" IN LENGTH. HE HAS COMPOSITION HEAD, WOOLY COVERED BODY AND MATCH STICK LEGS. HE IS PREOWNED, BUT I WOULD CONSIDER HIM IN GOOD CONDITION FOR AGE. THE SMALLER ONE IS APPROXIMATELY 3.5" IN HEIGHT AND 3.25" IN LENGTH. HE DOES HAVE SOME DAMAGE. ONE EAR IS DAMAGED AND HOOF OF ONE OF HIS MATCH STICK LEGS HAS BROKEN OFF. FOR SOME REASON, HE WILL STAND ALONE FACING LEFT, BUT NOT FACING RIGHT. HE ALSO HAS COMPOSITION FACE, WOOLY COVERED BODY AND MATCH STICK LEGS. BOTH HAVE ORIGINAL NECK RIBBONS AND I BELIEVE THEM TO BE GERMAN MADE AND CIRCA LATE 1920s OR 30s.
