Description: #20-139, 1920’s Jet Beaded Flapper Formal Evening Dinner Dress: This 1920’s dress was beaded on silk chiffon which is still soft and supple. This dress has a bust of 38”, waist of 40” & hips up to 45”. It slips on over the head and has a placket down the side to make it easier to wear. The dress is close to 100 years old and is a real antique garment. You could wear this if you are careful. There may be some missing beads, but I couldn’t find any. There are not holes. It is a simple tunic style with elegant beading. If you wore a colored slip under it the design of beadwork would become more apparent. It you wear a black slip under it, it will shimmer, but you won’t notice as much of the detail. This would have been worn for a formal dinner, evening or party in its day. Someone took very good care of it. I have washed my hands thoroughly before packing this dress and wiped down the box with disinfectant.Due to current conditions: We will be shipping Worldwide.
