You can put these bulbs in your bases to make your light strand flash as long as the voltage and wattage is the same and your string uses the standard style of mini bulbs. These flashers are used in strings that use 2.5V 0.425W bulbs, they will not work in LED light strings or strings of different voltage or wattage.
