Description: This listing is for a unique and beautiful Special Edition 2000 White House 200th Anniversary Christmas Ornament. I purchased this at an estate sale and it is in very good condition with a couple of minor rub marks on the blue part of the ornament. The frame of the ornament is 24 karat gold washed brass and it is very shiny and new-looking, I don't see any tarnished areas. There are some red & white enamel accents on the frame as well. The ornament features the North & South iconic architectural views, presented cameo-style, in white on a blue background. The dimensional White House inset is made of stone from the same quarry as that which was used for constructing the actual White House in Washington D.C. I do not have any of the paperwork that would have accompanied the ornament, nor the original box. However, this is still a very beautiful piece of American history.
