2002 YAMAHA VIOLIN V-7 4/4 With 2 Bows & Case

Description: This is a Used 2002 YAMAHA model V-7 size 4/4 with 2 bows, a shoulder rest and Yamaha branded case. The violin has a few dings and scratches but is in good playable condition. It has a new set of strings installed. Its brownish in color with a nicely flamed back. The Bows: 1st bow is a new unbranded bow. The 2nd bow is a really well used Glasser bow but seems to be still usable. The case is in OK shape it is well used and has cuts and tears somewhat dirty but still in usable shape. It is a branded Yamaha case and has wood reinforcement so it will still take a beating for years to come. No keys. YAMAHA violins are a great choice for beginner violinist. The best way to find the correct size is to Extend the arm out to the side perpendicular to the body and Measure from the base of the neck to the middle of the palm. 1/4 Violins are for Children from about the age of 4 to 7 years of age with an arm length of about 18 to 20 inches.1/2 Violins are for Children from about the age of 6 to 10 years of age with an arm length of about 20 to 22 inches.3/4 Violins are for Children from about the age of 8 to 13 years of age with an arm length of about 21 to 23 inches.4/4 Violins aka Full-Size Violins are normally for Adults and Children over the age of 13 with an arm Length of around 23 inches and up.
