2004 Ibanez Iceman IC400 Custom! Plum Crazy Purple Gibraltar Bridge Star Tuners

Description: Killer, one of a kind Ibanez IC400 Iceman custom build! Every bit and part of this build is top notch! Started as a stock 2004 Ibanez IC400 Iceman, which is an excellent guitar straight from the factory. From there I took the guitar to Martin Bravo and had him strip it down, plug the bridge post holes with solid mahogany and drill out precise holes for a brand new old stock original Gibraltar bridge with brass saddles. The same was done for the original Quickchange tailpiece. Next, Martin sourced the formula for the old Plymouth Plum Crazy Purple and made some magic! After that he used his famous nitro finish to complete the process. I decided to have him give the neck some special treatment as you can see in the photos... The unfinished/lightly oiled neck feels amazing with absolutely no drag when playing. Looks great too! The pickups are pretty special as well. The bridge position houses a hot DiMarzio Super Distortion while the neck position pickup is a chimey DiMarzio Humbucker From Hell with a Fender TBX pot for killer treble control. The knobs are Ibanez Sure Grip 1 Knobs with the early '78 large font. Both pickups have nickel covers exposing magnets/pole pieces for a very cool/unique look. I also tracked down a mint set of vintage 70's MIJ Ibanez Star Tuners which look great and perform even better! Original vintage Ibanez Iceman truss rod cover and beautiful abalone Ibanez script logo adorn the headstock... Includes the original hardshell case in excellent condition!
