The design was groundbreaking for the Royal Mint, at the time, as it was the first time a monarch had been depicted as a mythical figure. On the obverse of 2022 St. Helena Silver Una and the Lion Coins, you will find the image of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is shown here in a right-profile relief that was developed in 2015 for the Royal Mint by Jody Clark. The Queen is aged 89 in this design and wears the George IV State Diadem Crown.
