(flava x alata) A extremely colorful plant. Displays some awesome contrast between the tube/hood VS the lip VS the inner mouth. The underside of the hood is a vibrant red due to the alata genes it carries. The tube and inside of the mouth are ornate. It maintains a contrasting bright yellow lip. This plant makes pitchers all season long due to its mixed seasonality genetics. Father (pollen) plant: S. flava rubricorpora (MK F49 x Don's Red Tube) This is easily one of the best flava var. rubricorpora in my collection. The red and yellow on this plant are extremely vibrant and have a vibrant glow in daylight. Firetruck red and electric yellow! Offspring that inherit its color genes are sure to be extremely colorful and vibrant. 1st picture shows the two parent plants. 2nd picture shows the mother (pod) parent. 3rd picture shows the father (pollen) parent. 4th picture shows an example of the seeds you will get (not the quantity). 5th picture shows an example of how I bag my Sarracenia flowers in the spring. This cross was made in the Spring of 2024 and the seeds were harvested when ripe later in the same year. The cross was done carefully by hand. All manual crosses had bagged flowers to avoid any unwanted pollen contamination by nature. After harvest and drying, the seeds have been stored dry in the fridge to maximize longevity and viability. These seeds have NOT been stratified. You will need to do that yourself.
