22" SIMON HALBIG/HH 1079 DEP BISQUE DOLL Gorgeous BIG Blue P/W Eyes Clothes!

Description: Welcome to my ebay store: This antique DEP high quality doll has a really Gorgeous Simon Halbig 1079 mold bisque head on a Heinrich Handwerck stamped composition body. She has a BEAUTIFUL face with gorgeous large eyecuts typical of the 1079. They are perfect for her blue set French paperweight glass eyes. The 1079 always has big eyes but I have two of this mold that are exceptional, this one and a child sized one. They are really a stand out mold, very desirable to collectors. Her forehead has a red #2 somewhat typical of marks found on French doll heads. Back of head incised Simon Halbig 1079 and 10 1/2. Torso stamped by Heinrich Handwerck in red. Original head to body, selling from estate of the original owner. She is restrung, clean, wears all cleaned antique clothing including original leather shoes and socks. She has her original mohair wig that has been gently cleaned with conditioner, in an old color leaning to a burgundy reddish brown shade; with bangs that really make her eyes stand out. if I were keeping this gal I would probably splurge on a Wendy Feidt mohair wig. She has pierced ears. She wears an antique French dress with rows of tucks and inset lace, underwear including a half slip, full slip and buttoned pantaloons as well her cute design embellished antique socks and original antique shoes. Keep in mind what it costs to dress an antique doll appropriately, she has it all done for you!Dep doll with what I consider a French look, ready to display and gorgeous! See all photos please. More available.Ships from my smoke free home. NO issues in bisque head, some wear to compo as expected. I would also do some reinforcing at joint areas like shoulders and hips. She has a newer buckram pate that was glued on as the eyes are set recently and not sleep eyes so there is less issue shipping without head stuffed. However I can easily remove it and stuff her head if desired.
