Description: 2.5" Wide Premium Leather Santa Claus Belt w Solid Brass Buckle + PIRATE Dark Victory Armory's Solid Brass and Latigo Leather 2.5" wide This sturdy 10-11 oz BLACK drum dyed latigo leather belt is the same premium product that we've made for thousands of SCA and Ren-Faire participants. It is sealed the full length on all sides to prevent die transfer onto your attire. It measures 2 1/2 inch wide and can be made to any length up to 8 feet +/-. It is fitted with a wonderful SOLID BRASS buckle belt and includes a leather keeper (loop) that is captured in a sliding slot for proper function. We seek to make the very best. This is a top-quality product and is made to last several lifetimes. As a craft made product it may have character marks reflecting the creation process. This belt started out as specially made for Santa, however my customers have educated me that this is is suitable for many purposes including: Kilt Belt, Western show belt (Buffalo Bill), Wide Pirate/Buccaneer Belt, Medieval Belt, Extra Heavy Duty Work Belt, and of course Santa Claus. Options: Color: The leather used in this listing is black latigo. We can also accommodate color requests for a dark brown latigo and a lighter brown chestnut bridle leather.Length: This belt will be HAND MADE to YOUR specifications. Measure the circumference of your waist and tell us the number in inches. We'll cut your belt 8-10" inches longer and give you a 5 or 6 hole pattern of holes to use. If we do not hear from you about your size, we'll trim to 66" and let you put the holes in yourself.Finished end: Square cut, or diagonal cut. We'll trim the end with a diagonal cut unless you tell us otherwise.Buckle Size: Buckle is made to accommodate the 2 1/2" wide belt and measure 2 3/4" deep by 3 9/16" wide on its outside dimensions.Width: This belt is 2-1/2 inches wide. That is just malarky. Bulls, as older specimens have skin that ages over the years of the animal's lifetime therefore actual bullhide leather is typically more heavily wrinkled, textured, and scarred than sides of leather that is made from cow or steer. So, when a re-seller makes ridiculous claims, he doesn't care about the details, only the sale. The reality of leather work is that a properly tanned and milled TOP GRAIN leather in a heavy gauge (thickness) will look great and provide a excellent service for years. Look for SOLID BRASS buckle and fasteners not brass colored zinc alloy imitation brass finish.Buying a cheap imported belts from is fine, but being tricked into spending too much on one is wrong.You cannot replace quality with "bullhide".
