Description: Beautiful set of three (3) 19th century hand-painted ironstone Imari style bread plates by G.L. Ashworth & Brothers (later Masons), c. 1862. Set includes two from the pattern 271 featuring boats, mountains, trees and pagodas with pagodas in cartouche on band and one in the pattern 266 with a central vase with flowers and branches with geometric floral cartouche on band, both in the Imari palate. Plates are stamped with the Ashworth Royal Arms mark used from 1862 to 1890 and impressed Real Ironstone China. Each measure 6 3/4" diameter and are in Excellent antique condition free of nicks or fleabites, minor paint loss to rims as shown. A fine addition to any home or collection!
