Description: Here are three paper matchbook covers (matches removed) promoting the 1956 re-election of republican president Dwight D. Eisenhower. There is different printing on the insides of these; one lists the accomplishments of Ike's first term including ending the Korean War, creating high wage jobs, ending government corruption and creating the Interstate Highway System. Another was for release around the Washington D.C. area by a Republican State Committee. The third just has the printer's advertising. They about 4 3/8" x 1.5" and are flattened, in nice condition, but please look at our images to judge condition for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. Remember, this stuff's called ephemera, folks, since it was made to be used and then discarded. So we're just lucky to have things like this in any condition to add to our collections. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence. We'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases which we do by issuing a refund for any overpayment. Shipping on this will be $1.50 carefully packed. 7607
