Features: This is the complete 4 volume 1956 Breviarium Romanum, entirely, in Latin. It is in good condition. Bound in black leather with, gilt to the spines, all gilt edges. Spine titles are bright,, some pulling and rubbing at the spine tips and tails. Interiors, are printed in red and black throughout. Each title page has a, frontis plate and there are decorative chapter headings, as, well. This set belonged to a priest whose name is at the front, of each volume, then a well-known medieval scholar whose book, plate is at the front of each volume, then to an institution., The set has obviously been used but is still handsome and, serviceable. Paper is a bit toned but clean and unmarked, some, occasional turned down corners or crinkled page. . A handsome, complete 4 volume set of the 1956 Breviarium with nice, provenance.
