All three prints were hand signed and personalized by Gene Gray for the collector. Gene Gray (Claude Eugene Gray) was a noted artist known mostly for his detailed animal sketches, including the "Kentucky Wildcat" mascot from his home state. There is additional paperwork and bio information included with the prints from when collector bought items in 1970. Gene was from Lexington Kentucky, studied and majored in fine arts at the University of Kentucky and studied another three years at Ringling School of Art in Sarasota Florida in specialized study. Gray won numerous awards early in his career and had already sold hundreds of his original paintings and works by the time he and a businessman friend formed a company "Animal Graphics" around 1970 to market his works to wider audience. Later other publishers like Green River Graphics House sold his works and possibly others. He was under great demand as an artist and as noted designed the first "Kentucky Wildcat" mascot in 1969 and was commissioned by other universities and other for works as well. These prints were professionally framed by the Lyman Brothers Company of Indianapolis, Indiana, a longtime noted fine art framer and arts supporter in the Midwest US. Frames are in decent condition with some moderate wear and the backing on one frame has a tear as shown in pictures. The prints are very nice with perhaps a little darkening with age, but overall very nice. We noted a few small spots of moisture on lower portion of matting along frame bottom edges on two prints but they really do not effect the item's appeal and you almost do not notice them. Very rare to find signed and personalized prints. In fact, while we found many signed prints we could not locate any personalized ones that have sold online. These are nice mid sized prints that would compliment any rustic room, office, den or cabin. They are listed as below: 1.)
