Description: This antique violin is a beautiful 3/4 size instrument with a brownish red color and a varnish finish. It was manufactured in the early 1900s in Czechoslovakia and is a copy of the famous Antonius Stradivarius. It comes with four fine tuners, a hard case and an adjustable bridge, making it perfect for beginners of any experience level. The body of the violin is made of maple and it currently has three working strings. It has a lightweight design and is suitable for right-handed players. This vintage instrument has a number of features that make it a great choice for anyone looking to learn or play the violin. It does however, have 2 cracks in the face of the violin that could use a repair, but do not seem to affect the playability or the tone quality of this instrument. The cracks may have previously been repaired by a luthier before I came into its possession. I have played and loved this violin. It has a super sweet tone; the kind you can only find on an aged instrument. This would be the perfect first violin for anyone looking to learn how to play. This size is suitable for children and small adults. I played this size violin from 4th through 6th grade. This is one size smaller than a full sized violin. The only thing it's missing is a bow, chin rest and one peg; all of which are easily replaceable and fairly cheap to do so.
