These were sent to media outlets for promotional purposes, to be used by writers doing reviews or features about the films, and were not sold at retail stores. The discs include still images from the movie on a CD-ROM, which is not a DVD. Press kits do NOT include the movie itself. Thumbnails shown on the text insert or booklet (when one is included) show the images found on the CD-ROM. When a booklet is included, it typically has production notes about the movie, and info about the cast and crew who made it. -------------------- Specific details about the four press kits you will get in this auction: (1) CONSTANTINE. This is the rare and collectible Digital Press Kit for the 2005 movie "Constantine" starring Keanu Reeves as the DC Vertigo Comics character John Constantine, from the comic series Hellblazer. Comes with a nice 56-page booklet. CONDITION: The only minor flaws are (1) the booklet has side impressions at top and bottom from where the two plastic "grabbers" hold it in place inside the plastic case; and (2) there's some minor "edgewear" at the top of the clear plastic of the case on the front, and some crimping of that clear plastic at the right edge of the case. Not a big deal, but I'm picky enough to mention it. (2) THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL. This is the rare and collectible Digital Press Kit for the 2008 movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still" starring Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly. Comes with a nice 40-page booklet. CONDITION: The only flaw with this otherwise like-new copy is that there are marks/impressions at top and bottom of the side of the booklet where the plastic "grabber" tabs inside the plastic case hold it in place. Also note that the playing side of the disc is green, like a CD-R, but this is exactly how it came from the studio -- it is not a copy that I made, it is the "real deal." (3) THE FOG. This is the rare and collectible Digital Press Kit for the 2005 movie "The Fog" starring Maggie Grace, Tom Welling and Selma Blair. Comes with 36-page booklet. CONDITION: Like new, excellent condition! (4) THE MUTANT CHRONICLES. This is a very "bare bones" promo. All you will get is the DVD Electronic Press Kit (EPK) disc and plastic CD-size case for the 2008 movie "Mutant Chronicles" starring Thomas Jane, Ron Perlman and Devon Aoki. It includes five short clips from the movie and the movie's trailer, adding up to a total of just over five minutes. (To repeat: This disc does NOT have the entire movie!) Note that although this is the real thing -- not a copy I made -- the playing surface is blue like a DVD-R, which is how it was sent from the movie studio. Also, note that the ink on the paper label that is stuck to one side of the disc is smeared in one area (see the close-up photo above). You'll love them! Any questions, just ask!
