4 Evergreen Forest Terrain Modules for Wargames, HO Scale Model Train Layouts

Description: Lot of 4: Evergreens Forest Terrain Modules for Wargames - Evergreens Add pre-made forest pieces for your wargame table, or useful with your train layout. Use your imagination and decide how best to add them into your scene. "Defend a forest pass", or "Block your troops movements through a forest". We have been wargaming and doing trains for over 50 years, and scenery makes the battle (or train layout) that much more realistic and enjoyable... Using modules, at least for wargaming, can be very practical. This is how the modules work... We will send 4 pieces, each one measures about 4x4 inches, with trees, bushes, and painted. Scale is closest to 25mm, but use your imagination to make this fit your needs. Measures about 5 inches height, from base to tree-top, and will vary slightly. Two sides are lightly rounded, and two sides have a straight edge. You can place them together into an 8x8 inch forest block, or mix-n-match various combinations to whatever you want to create. Place them closer together to make a forest pathway, limiting troop movement; or wider apart as you see fit. Or, make a solid line to depict impassable forest, or into a zig-zag pattern. After the battle, move them around... Nicely usable for train layouts also. Scale is closest to HO, but depending on your imagination, they can be used for N-Gauge or O-Scale too. Model Train Layouts, Dioramas, and Hobby or Craft Scenery Projects, and more. Each module will vary a little bit, trees and bushes will vary, and the shape will vary slightly. Yes, they can be a little "quirky", but tweek them the way you want it... add small rocks or gravel, twigs from the yard, let your creative imagination embellish them. Shipping: It is expensive, we get that... The cost of shipment is about the packaging, not the weight per se. Although the Forest Modules are fairly sturdy,there is no telling of the destructive power of the postal carrier...so we try to counter their torture by packing the modules better... hence a slightly higher shipping cost. More scenery is coming... Yes, you can make your own, it's easy, and we encourage you to make your own scenery if you can. You should be able to find trees and plants from your yard, the empty lot, all over... Styrofoam is available in many places also. The flocking may be heavier on some than others, and the shape may be different. Again, every module and in every set, there will be some differences.
