Description: Antique Stoneware Pottery Crock Butter Churn Lid Only for John Burger's Rochester NY coolerBeige Earth Brown Glazed - 11 1/2" Diameter,Marked for 4 Gallons Lid cover is about 11 1/2" diameter, in the middle a knob 5/8" H and 2" diameter. At the bottom upside down, the interior rim is about 9 1/4" diameter outside dimensionand 1/4" thick x 3/4" H.The lid is about 11 1/2" diameter and the top knob raises about 1 3/4". Dimensions are approximate. Lid has couple of fine cracks at the edges. It has a loss of material in the inner cover from long ago.The bottom is unglazed with some light color orange clay. The upper part of the lid has 2 hairlines. The hairlines at the edge about 2 inches long. Lid color is toward more of light brown orange. It is a little darker than shown in the photo due to the daylight exposure. Stoneware lid is presented as originally received. Lid has always been stored. See photos for condition.
