Simply squeeze the handles to open/loosen the clamp and remove your hose. The handles are coated with a firm rubber material for easy gripping and squeezing when needed. The handles are also slightly oversized for a comfortable grip. These clamps may be used for other purposes but are primarily designed for dust collection hose. The 4” clamp opens up to approximately 4-7/8” ID when fully opened (handles squeezed together and touching). This allows for plenty of room to clamp and secure most any standard 4” dust collection hose.
