Description: 'Saflip' brand double-pocket coin holders (flips) are made from inert Mylar – free from PVC, oils or any additives that can damage coins. Mylar is an excellent material to protect coins for long- or short-term storage as it is tear and scratch proof, and has a very low permeability (i.e. it will not let dust or water in). These flips have been the bench-mark for protection in numismatics since they were first introduced – each has two separate pockets, so one pocket to store the coin, the other to hold an insert/display card. Thus the coin is protected from any contamination on the insert as well as any contamination from being handled. Each pack contains 50 flips, 2x2” (50x50 mm).
