Grows in full sun and part sun, doing well in a broad range of temperatures through multiple seasons and can survive some drought once established although its not preferable. It flowers in cycles or when over stressed, bearing tiny white flower bulbs that will help to self seed and keep the mat growing well formed. (see images) Start seeds outdoors in a rainy spring, after last frost. Sprinkle on TOP of soil. Keep watered, takes 1-2 weeks to germinate, but sometimes you will see tiny roots starting in as little as 3 days. Another great option to ensure sprouting is in a seed starter tray with a clear lid to retain moisture, and then transplant in plugs outdoors once established. * Note: Seeds are very small and need light to germinate.
