The blooms are about 3" across and have a prominent central cone of yellow / dark brown with bright yellow petals. Blooms early summer right into fall. Perennial. Reaches up to 36 inches tall and form clumps about 18 inches wide, with dozens of flowering stems. Deadheading will prolong blooms into fall. Attracts bees and butterflies. Makes a great cut flower.
