Here are several reasons why I think the "G6" Gator Blade is the best blade for your mower.1 Gator blades are designed to recirculate the grass clipping into the cutting path resulting in finer clippings for quicker decomposition. This decomposition adds nutrients back into the soil quicker and is less likely to develop diseases that thicker clippings may develop.2 Unlike a mulching kit, gator blades still discharge out the side. This has several benefits. With a mulching kit it is recommended that the operator only cut off a 1/3 of the grass at a time. Crowding the mulching kit can leave clumps of grass lay behind because the mulching kit cannot handle a large amount of material.
