Description: When you install air suspension on the front of a 58-64 Impala, Bel Air, Biscayne, Del Ray... Jeez, GM made a TON of these cars! Anyway, when you put airbags on the front end, the shocks need to be relocated on the outside of the control arms. This set of brackets is designed to bolt to your frame and lower control arm, making the job as easy as possible. We include a set of self-threading 3/8" bolts to mount the upper shock towers, and a set of lower studs that bolt into your lower control arms. Unlike other brackets on the market, ours have an extended reinforcing gusset that prevents bending and tearing. Because you should really only have to buy your shock brackets ONCE! Rather than make you buy shocks from us, here's the part number: Napa Response 94132, or Monroe 32267. These shocks are made for a 1-ton van, so they ride really nicely on the front of your car with airbags. NOTE: Installation will require cutting your inner fenders for clearance, and you will see these shock towers inside the engine bay. Just so there are no surprises! ANOTHER NOTE: Cars with factory clutch linkage will need additional modifications to use these brackets- that z-bar pivot sits on the frame in the exact same spot as these install.
