Description: Offered here is a group of six porcelain china plates made by Fukagawa Japan in the Kukiemon style. The mark on the underside of each plate is the karansha "orchid" mark, which indicates manufacture between 1930 and the mid to late 1950s. Lots of detail on these plates. Dimensions: Each plate measures just over 7.5" in diameter. Condition: Of the six plates, two have a single chip (each) on the outer edge (see pictures). The gilt edge and accents remain bright and do not appear to have been worn away with time. Enameled central design is sharp and bright on each of the six plates. Thanks for looking!
