If you were worried that it might tip over, no fear here as we have added a weight to the base to prevent tipping. Operation is quite effortless, simply insert 2 AA batteries per candle (not included) into the candlestick and tighten down the cavity with the screw cap. The automatic timer will start in the on position once the cavity is secured and stays lit for 6 hours at which the candle’s timer will cycle off for the next 18 hours and then repeat daily. The timer function provides a consistent, time for your candles to come on regardless of the ambient light inside or outside the home.
