It came from a private collection, I've never found 2 matching!~ I am selling them individually ( please see measurements below) This textile dates from the early to mid 19th century , it's difficult to say exactly ~~This is a handmade rug / carpet / runner made of wool in an area of Portugal called Arraiolos ~ this town has produced these textiles since the middle ages! It's a needlepoint rug , so rare ~ it's the epitome of Portuguese handwork ~ The wonderful folk art design would complement any period interior! ~ A rare and wonderful size! Measurements: This textile measures 29 inches by 62 inches ~ at the moment of listing I have two matching and I'm selling them individually ~ if you would like both, simply add to your cart and change the quantity to 2 ~*~ If you would like only to purchase one, you can add to cart and proceed normally ~*~ CONDITION: This rug has been hand washed , it's ready to use!
