Description: Please read the description carefully. For sale is a used 1964-1965 Muncie M20 4-speed transmission that was purchased from a barn find estate sale. From what I was told this has been in the estate for over 40 years. The date code is P0108 (Muncie January 8). The main case is the 7/8” shaft #3851325, tail housing #3846429, no shift cover housing. This has a 10-spline zero-groove input shaft with 24 gear input teeth and a #3915020 front bearing retainer. Driver’s side speedometer. All synchro’s look good, all the gears look good except 3rd gear & the third gear mate on the cluster shaft, there looks to be some gear teeth damage so they should be replaced. Everything spins fine, except one spot where the third gear tooth damage binds up a little. When turning the transmission, it also feels like the bearings could be a little loose. I would recommend having this checked out or rebuilt by a transmission specialist before installing it. All four bellhousing mounting ears are good. I tried to list everything about this transmission but please ask any/all questions before buying. Shipping, handling, & insurance is $175 to the contiguous mainland continental US only, no Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or any international shipping. Thanks for looking.
