Description: Seven color slides by MORRIS SCOTT DOLLENS based on Isaac Asimov's NIGHTFALL. The main slide is shown above. The other six show the progression of the eclipse and two of them show the completely finished eclipse, so all of these are different. Ordinarily I sell these slides for $25.00 each as they are vintage originals, not modern dupes. There is one of each in this set and I only have this one set. Slides are 2" x 2", image area is 7/8" x 1 3/8" and are in excellent like new condition. Original vintage 35mm slides. Morris died in 1994 but I bought many color slides from him before then which he made himself by photographing the paintings he'd done before selling them and these are slides I bought from him. Morris frequently attended science fiction conventions in the 1970s and 1980s where he sold his original paintings for an average of $80.00 each! Morris did some fantastic work over the decades (his portrait photo of Ray Bradbury graces the dust jacket of the first edition of THE MARTIAN CHRONICLES).
