Does not adjust or break down in to smaller sections. If you set-up at various locations, please ensure that you have a vehicle that can transport an 8 foot pipe. **Break Apart Upright = two pieces. Does not adjust in height, but breaks down in to 2 smaller sections; one is 4 feet, and the other is 4 feet 4 inches. When the two pieces are put together, it creates an 8 foot Upright. This makes transportation easier if you travel with your set-up and do not have a vehicle that can accommodate a fixed 8 foot pipe. Please note that there is a little more "wiggle room" to Break Apart Uprights since they are two pieces instead of a single solid piece. ***Edge Protectors = the edges of the bases can be raw or rough. Edge protectors help protect your hands and flooring. Wearing work gloves is always recommended when handling any of these component parts. Material - Aluminum Color - Silver Other - Adjustable from 6 to 10 feet wide. Button stop at 8 and 10 foot intervals. What Is The Slip-Fit System? The slip-fit system is designed to be a tremendous time saver for setting up and breaking down your pipe and drape display. The uprights are hollow, allowing them to simply slip over the base pin (included with each base). The drape support rod features steel hooks at each end that slip inside of one of the four slots cut out at the top of the upright. Estimated set-up time varies based on the number of people and the speed at which he or she works, but should average about 5-10 minutes once the boxes are unpacked. The only tool required is a flat head screwdriver to screw the base pin onto the base (a very simple task). Other than that, no tools for assembly are required. IMPORTANT: Use of products are intended for indoor, decorative use only. They should never be used where tip-over may cause injury or damage.
