About The Drape:Economy drape is a lighter weight fabric with an open weave pattern; it is fairly transparent, though not totally sheer. Economy drape blocks approximately 50-60% of light*. It is regarded as an industry standard drape fabric for convention centers. This Inherently Flame Retardant (IFR) fabric is designed to pass the NFPA 701 fire code. *This opacity scale is an approximation under normal circumstances. A variety of factors can affect the opacity, including the amount of back-lighting, spacing from a wall, and the overall brightness of the lighting used in a room. For example, using the drape near a wall makes it more opaque than if it's used in front of a window with sunlight shining through. In situations with a lot of bright lighting, you can make help make it more opaque by purchasing an additional drape panel (or two), sold separately in our store. For situations in which the drape must be completely opaque, it is recommended that you use our Commando or Velour fabrics. They are machine washable (gentle cycle, like colors, cold water, mild liquid detergent should be applied to the water prior to placing drape in the machine -- never put concentrated detergent directly into contact with drape as it may alter the color), can be machine dried (air only setting), and ironed (cool setting). NEVER EXPOSE THE DRAPE TO TEMPERATURES ABOVE 140°F. The slip-fit system is designed to be a tremendous time saver for setting up and breaking down your pipe and drape display. The uprights are hollow, allowing them to simply slip over the base pin (included with each base). The drape support rod features steel hooks at each end that slip inside of one of the four slots cut out at the top of the upright. Estimated set-up time varies based on the number of people and the speed at which he or she works, but should average about 5-10 minutes once the boxes are unpacked. The only tool required is a flat head screwdriver to screw the base pin onto the base (a very simple task). Other than that, no tools for assembly are required. To achieve a 20 foot total width, two uprights and bases would be set up with a support rod in between, and then the second support rod would be hooked into the other side of the (now middle) upright. The far end is finished with the third upright and base. Because each upright has 4 slots cut out, you could make either a linear 20 foot span, or an "L" shape at any of the open 90 degree angles.
