Description: This listing is for 8 vintage gift and shower greeting cards. They are so charming, and all are vintage, 1950's cards. The biggest card is a "congratulations" card for a new baby, that is die cut and a 4-fold card that has embossing, and even a beautiful lithograph on the back (not shown, ran out of photo spaces). This card is from Artistic, has an envelope that is new. It measures 5" by 6". There are 3 little diaper shaped baby cards. They are so cute, and open to pretty information. They are Gibson cards, and have envelopes that are not original. These 3 are the only ones that have flaws. One has a tiny discoloration spot, one has a tiny closed tear at the top, and one has a line of age discoloration. They are small flaws, but I try to mention everything. This card has faint blue lines that are part of the way it was made, to make it look more like folded fabric. My favorite card is the Kitchen Shower card! I LOVE what it says - regular on the front, "a gift for your kitchen shower" but the INSIDE says "When you are queen of the skillet hope this little thing helps you whip up a dinner that's fit for a king!" Whaaaat? I would love to give this card! The uproar would be so much fun. This card is a small Buzza card 2 1/2" by 3 1/4" with original envelope. The others are a bit more generic - "A gift for your shower" with no type designated. (Also a Buzza). The American Greetings card is just a Gift for your BRIDAL shower, and lastly is just "A gift for you" with no reason designated. It is just "Litho in USA". All of the cards are from the 1950's, and all are fun! You won't be disappointed. If you decide to return them, I take back anything, for any reason. So it's really easy. If you like vintage greetings, I have quite a few that I need to list - I am selling all my collections, and I love vintage greetings, so check back.
