Made from various materials including plastic from the production plant floor, the sweeps from prior button manufacturing were used many times to create some of these buttons. Using various materials is what gives the button its unique color, texture and pattern when molded, with some of the buttons displaying what looks like flecks of metal within. The composition buttons have not been clear coated as yet, but if someone chose to, they would display very nicely with some of them revealing more of the color and their beautiful pattern. Perfect for antique button collecting or adding a pop of color to jackets and coats, these buttons are a must-have for any seamstress.
