I can provide additional pictures upon request. Offered for sale is #875 The Globe Brewery's "Brewerby" error bottle. Thanks to an engraver's error, a few bottles from this brewery where blown at the Dominick O. Cunningham Glass Works in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with Brewery, misspelled as "Brewerby" Engravers were required to engrave the letters in reverse and in a concave bottle mold so from time to time an error was produced and misses quality assurance. The error was soon noticed and the mold must have been destroyed as only a few have survived. This example is in medium amber and retains some internal staining and external ground wear from where it was dug from a privy. The embossing in strong and without any highpoint wear.
