Description: 9-1/2" Vintage Tin HEART SHAPE Cake or Bread Pan Removable Bottom, Slide Arm Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE HEART SHAPE CAKE OR BREAD PAN Wonderful vintage molded tin heart shape pan measuring 9-1/2" in size and 3-1/4" deep. Featuring a puffy heart shape with bracket handle across the top, bottom can be removed and sides will spring out for ease in de-panning a cake or similar baked item. The mechanism to open the pan is unusual - it is a sliding bracket with coiled end - the bracket is threaded along a channel on each side of the heart point. Condition is very nice with no dents, holes, discoloration or damage - there is a bit of surface rust underneath the slide bracket from the pan being washed and not dried completely before storage - does not detract, show or impact function. I can find no maker's mark - it has been hanging for display since the 1970s (I did a whole wall of heart baking pans - such a neat industrial look) and I did make a few cakes and even bread in the pan.
