Description: 9 Vintage I-Spy Books Bundle 1950's & 1960s inc *dog, *horses, *aircraft, *6d style and others *GENUINE VINTAGE ORIGINALS. 9 x vintage I-Spy books with copyright dates spanning from 1958 through to 1967. Prices for them at the time range from 6d through to 1 shilling! Subjects are: Everyday Machines (1958), Horses and Ponies (1960), On The Road (1961), Dogs (1961), Aircraft (1961), In The Street (1963), Aircraft - a second newer version (1964), and Signs & Symbols (1967). Also one called The Wheel - this has no cover, but comes from around the same time as the others. The comics I have include: TV21, [Gerry Anderson's] Candy and Andy, Thunderbirds, Stingray, Supercar, Fireball XL5, Lady Penelope, Dr Who, The Daleks, Joe 90, Captain Scarlet, lots of vintage football magazines and sticker albums, Pippa dolls, a 1950s high chair, a ricking horse, a 1970s pram, a large 1960s Triang Scooter, a 1960 bicycle, TV Comic, Laurel and Hardy, Popeye, Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, Disney, Shoot!, Tiger, The Hornet, TV Tornado, Dandy, The Beano, The Whizz, Tarzan, Lion, TV Toyland, Yosemite Sam, Top Cat, Yogi, Huckleberry Hound, Bugs Bunny, and much, much more!!***** Horses and Ponies and Signs & Symbols have colour pictures inside, the rest are black and white. I have shown some pages from all of the books (above). Just the one owner. There's that real sense of nostalgia with these books, with their lovely 1960s animation style, that's long-gone from todays books, sadly. None of the books have had any of their many questions or tasks filled in (i.e. they all remain blank) - apart from Signs & Symbols, which has only 5 questions answered. They all show signs of wear, creasing to page corners (varying degrees), and scuffing to cover spines and page edges. Some have age spots. Aircraft (1961) has 7 pages where drawings have been coloured in (the Aircraft 1964 version has many of the same pictures, and these are not coloured in). Everyday Machines has 4 pages coloured in. Name written on first page of Horses book. They're between 57 - 66 years old. I am always honest about my items. Will be carefully packaged and protected for posting.
