The pages have tanned with age but there are no marks, writing or creases to the pages. The binding is tight, firm, and square. The cover is splayed outward as is common in Avon paperbacks of this era, but the cover is glossy with full lamination. The book looks unread, with no reader's crease on the front, and very minimal creasing to the spine. There is a corner crease on the front and diagonal creases on the back.
