Description: A nearly matched pair of identical solid state Siemens V275/01 legendary mic and line preamps, based on the famous V70s line of solid state and tube amps by Telefunken/TAB/Siemens. You could spend $3k on a modern stereo mic pre with upgraded features, DIs, and all the perks and they won't sound as good as these. A true rare gem. We used them sporadically on our 16x2 passive summing box. They have about 45dB of variable gain, hardly any noise and are fully wired with XLR pigtails and PSU soldered and ready to go. They've been mounted to a metal plate mesh, which can be easily taped or glued to a 1U rack solution at some $60 extra if you need to make this portable. No hassle, plug and play. Both unit are fully functional and matching in sound. If you have condenser mics, you will need extra phantom power for this to work. All dynamic, ribbon, and tube mics with their own PSUs work right away with these.Since these are from 1975 thus 50+ years ago but recapping was done about two decades ago and no issues thus far.
