CONDITION Brand New Publisher Description For over four decades, biblical theology has been at the core of the biblical counseling movement. Leaders in biblical counseling have emphasized a commitment to teaching doctrine in their counseling courses out of the conviction that good theology leads to good counseling and bad theology leads to bad counseling. In A Theology of Biblical Counseling Video Lectures Heath Lambert unpacks the core convictions that underlie sound counseling and gives practical wisdom for our counseling practices today. Together with the accompanying book, A Theology of Biblical Counseling, these lectures show how biblical counseling is rooted in the Scriptures while illustrating the real challenges counselors face today.A Theology of Biblical Counseling Video Lectures is accessible for working biblical counselors and for counselors-in-training at colleges and seminaries. In each lesson, doctrine comes to life in real ministry to real people, dramatically demonstrating how theology intersects with the lives of actual counselees.Session Titles and Runtimes:1 - Counseling and Theology: A Crucial Introduction (31 min)2 - Biblical Counseling and a Theology of Scripture (26 min)3 - Biblical Counseling and a Theology of Common Grace (31 min)4 - Biblical Counseling and a Theology of God (31 min)5 - Biblical Counseling and a Theology of Christ (29 min)6 - Biblical Counseling and a Theology of the Holy Spirit (24 min)7 - Biblical Counseling and a Theology of Humanity (32 min)8 - Biblical Counseling and a Theology of Sin (27 min)9 - Biblical Counseling and a Theology of Suffering (26 min)10 - Biblical Counseling and a Theology of Salvation (32 min)11 - Biblical Counseling and a Theology of the Church (17 min)12 - Biblical Counseling and the Goal of Theology (9 min)13 - Real-Life Biblical Counseling Application (28 min) Author Biography Dr. Heath Lambert is the Executive Director of The National Association of Nouthetic Counselors.
