A "Used" Set (3 thru P) of Confidence Visa Gold, Cavity Back Irons!

Description: A "Used" Set (3 thru 9) of "Vintage" Confidence Visa Gold, Cavity Back Irons! Confidence was a Club Company started by the Mader Company in the early 70's. They must have been pretty good if I can believe what I read on the internet. It says that in the 1973 Los Angeles Open, 55 players in the field were using Confidence (Forged) Irons. These Investment Cast irons are from later era, and if we can rely on the internet being correct, they were very popular in mid 1980's This set has seen some use, but none of the clubs has an excessive amount of nicks and dings from bag rattle Of course the longer irons are in a little better shape, as they probably didn't get as much use as the shorter irons. The gold paint is missing from the words Visa Gold on some if the clubs too, but I don't it affected the clubs that much when I took them to the local driving range and hit balls with them. The shaft sticker only says Visa Gold, so I'm not sure who made them. I think True Temper made a ton of shafts for various golf clubs that did not identiy them as being the maker, but I don't mean to suggest that these are made by them. It is just a possibility. There is also no indication of Flex on the stickers, but I'm guessing they are Stiff, as that is what it felt like when I was hitting balls with them. The grips are Golf Pride "Victory" with the Confidence name on them! The grips are all pretty hard surfaced, and could all use a scrubbing or two or three with saddle soap to liven them up! If you've been around golf for long, then you probably know how to replace grips if you need to. Clubs will be protetively packaged and shipped USPS Ground Advantage!
