Description: ABBM Vintage Mandolin A-Shape Distressed Circa 1925 Distressed Case Needs Love This mandolin was made by ABBM Mandolins around 1925 or thereabouts. The seller told me that it was an "ABBA Mandolin" But I could find no name on the mandolin. I finally found another mandolin that had the name "ABBM Mandolin" printed in it. That mandolin is identical to this one and that is how I realized this is made by ABBM Mandolin. Essentially, this instrument is a very close likeness to a Martin flatback mandolin from the same period This mandolin survived a house fire, as told to me by the seller, the heat blistered the varnish. It needs restoration and would be a great piece to work into your own expression. Rosewood headstock veneer. Original bone nut. Pearl position dots. Bound fretboard.
