Description: Porceleyne Fles/Royal Delft Tuinfeest Utrecht 1919 (Garden Party Utrecht 1919) This garden party was held for three days and more or less a fundraiser for the poor people.I sold this plate back in time (I believe 2007) to Rick Erickson (auther of the book Royal Delft a guide to the Porceleyne Fles) and that plate is pictured at page 150.After that sale I never saw ythe plate again so its extremely hard to find. Paintersinitials VP = Petrus F Vreeswijk (worked at the factory from 1885-1934) Diameter 23 cm / 9.2 inch Perfect condition Royal Delft / Porceleyne Fles factory is the only still operating delft factory and was founded in 1653.It is well know for its high quality delftware and you can still visit the factory and make a tour.
