In addition to teaching in Medical Law and Ethics, Law of Torts and research methods, Chans research interest is in clinical ethics, medico-legal issues in end-of-life, health policy and emerging issues in public health. She has published on the subject of advance directives and reviewed books for Medical Law Review.
