His photographs also regularly appeared in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Life, Time, and Newsweek. Broadway shows: Hair, Applause, The Elephant Man, and Sophisticated Ladies. Duncan's complete archive is in the collection of the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. Published works include: Nudes More Nudes Red Shoes. Photograph is from the archive of After Dark and Dance Magazine editor William Como. After Dark was an essential source on dance, theater, performance art, ballet, and cinema of the late 60 and 1970s and a foundational piece of gay cultural history that influenced a generation of artists.
