L. Kirk illustrated edition of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, a refurbished copy that is lacking one of the twelve color plates. The missing plate,which is supposed to face page 122, is entitled "I believe I can guess that!", and is a picture of Alice talking to the mad hatter. The only other picture with a minor issue is the picture of Alice with the large bird, white appears to have a couple chips in its edges, but are actually just dogears that need to be straightened out which I show in my seventeenth picture. This is widely considered to be one of the best editions of Alice's Adventures because of the nice illustrations. I find copies of this exact edition mostly all priced between one and four hundred dollars plus shipping, with a couple copies in poor condition missing some of the plates starting at around eighty dollars.
