Located just outside of Salt Lake City, Utah, in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, Alta was one of the first ski areas to open in the United States, and the 2nd in the Western Ski Region. This is a gray/silver tone metal buckle with the iconic snowflake logo over a darkened background, made by Western Heritage Company, in 2005. It is in pretty decent used condition, as shown in the photos it does have some tarnish / patina, and some wear and tear from age or use. It measures approximately 3-1/8" x 2-1/2", fits a 1-1/2" wide belt and weighs about 3.3 oz.
