Description: Vintage Pleasant Co American Girl Native American Doll Kaya Kaya is the only American Girl Doll that doesn’t show her teeth when smiling! (Kaya was released in 2002. Her mold is special because she is the only doll made by American Girl with her mouth closed. The reason? Kaya is from the Nez Perce tribe, and in their culture it is considered impolite to show one's teeth.) 18” Tan Body, Marked Pleasant Co. 2002 on the back of her neck. Doll has been cleaned, Hair has been brushed but retains waves from the original braiding. She is in excellent condition except for a teeny unnoticeable bit on her nose that could be a scuff(?) -see close-up pic. I don’t know a lot about dolls but: Arms are tight enough to stay up, legs are slightly loose (are AG dolls normal to be like that?) she can stand without being propped up if that helps. She will come with the handmade dress shown. 💕Ready for a new home and person to love her! Please See all photos and ask if you have questions. :)
