Description: I bought these notebooks but didn't use them. I didn't need as many as I thought I did. This notebook includes all the questions that are in the hardback student textbook (you must buy this as well for this course -- there are used/new ones available on eBay). The students can write the answers in the notebook or type the answers on a separate document. It also includes the tests. This is the only place you will find the tests for the course. The questions for all the literature readings are in both books -- but not the tests. In this notebook, it tells you how to go to their website, put in a code, and get all the answer keys -- the answers for the questions, the answers to the tests, and a schedule for 36 weeks showing which questions the students should answer (and which ones to skip as there are a lot of questions). Also, this could count for the writing portion of English (if you had them do all the writing). There are instructions on how to do certain types of essays, literary criticism and more in the supplemental information that is on the website. Of course, you don't have to do that portion if you don't want to.This is just the Student Notebook that has a code to the answer key. This is the only book that includes the tests for this course. The notebook also has all the questions for daily assignments that goes with the hardcover textbook.These are the first edition notebooks. Second edition textbook has been published now. These books are $90 new and have the same content the first edition textbooks have -- just less literary works. Therefore these notebooks should work for the 2nd edition textbooks, but there will be some readings your child would not answer the questions for in the notebook, and some of the tests might not work (or you would have to delete questions on some tests) as they may not have had to read all the information.
