Description: This is a stained glass sun catcher meant for window display featuring THE ANGEL OF THE ARTS holding a trinity of symbols relating the arts of humankind: Palette and Brushes for painting, Mallet and Chisel for sculpture and Triangle and Square for woodworking. The original is a Tiffany Window at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The inscriptions on the piece reads: Lyndhurst: A Property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, copyright Glassmakers 1989. The glass circle of vibrant colored glass, slightly rippled on one side for a nice stained glass effect, measures 8 3/4” diameter, edged in 1/4” lead cam with good working attachment chain approx. 15” long. The piece is graded in Fine condition, but note a light bit of rusting only on a few of the chain links and the side holders- a collector's stained glass window display. A postage and handling contribution of $20.00 is included in the listing price for this item, due to its larger size and heavier weight in shipping. Shipping and Handling costs are included FREE for this purchase, if mailed within Canada or to the USA. If necessary, please consult the PAYMENT & SHIPPING Page in our store for more details on mailings. International customers please email us for shipping rates to your country.
